Bowen is a gentle, soft-tissue technique that influences muscles, fascia, ligaments, joints, and nerves in order to promote the body’s own ability to heal and correct itself.
Developed by the late Tom Bowen from Victoria, this ‘less is more’ approach to bodywork is gaining worldwide appeal.
What is Bowen?
Unlike traditional physical therapies such as massage, Bowen does not require you to undress and does not use oils. Bowen moves combine stretch, pressure, and vibration and can be performed over light clothing to bring about a state of deep relaxation.
It is safe for everyone, including infants, pregnant women, and the elderly – all of whom Jasmine has treated over the years.
