To be able to treat you effectively, we need an accurate diagnosis. And sometimes the only way to diagnose problems with your spine is to take a look at the bones themselves.
Digital X-Rays allow us to take pictures of your bones by using a beam of radiation that passes through the body. This beam produces a black and white picture on a computer (like a negative photograph).
We use digital X-Rays to study detailed images of three main parts of your spine – cervical (neck), thoracic (middle back), and lumbar (lower back).
These X-Rays allow us to see every vertebra, as well as the curve of your spine. We can check for abnormalities in these pictures to get to the bottom of your discomfort.
Our South of Perth chiro uses X-Rays to diagnose:
Spinal degeneration (aka arthritis)
Disc degeneration
Congenital or developmental spinal disorders
Scoliosis
Spondylolisthesis
Tumors
Fractures
